Welcome to INTC
The Illinois New Teacher Collaborative (INTC) is at the forefront of providing statewide leadership for promoting new teacher induction and mentoring programs and supplying resources for those who support new teachers. Recognizing the need for a central source to consolidate and coordinate induction and mentoring efforts, INTC was created in 2004 by a diverse statewide group of educational stakeholders. Information and resources pertaining to attracting and retaining new teachers and enhancing their teaching are now available to schools and communities through the central source provided by INTC.
INTC Online offers resources for preservice teachers, new teaching professionals, teacher mentors, K-12 school administrators, service providers, and higher education professionals.
For more information about new teacher induction and mentoring, contact INTC by e-mail intc@illinois.edu, by phone (217)244-7389, or through our feedback form.
